Brush Hogging

Brush Hogging or Bush Hogging or Heavy Mowing

WHAT IS IT?

Brush Hogging goes by a few different names including bush hogging, rotary cutting or rough cutting. Brush hogging is the mowing of over overgrown fields or large yards with a tractor with a rotary cutter. These are areas that have become too overgrown for a regular riding or push mower to mow. A rotary cutter is a heavy duty mechanically driven mower usually powered the the PTO of a tractor that can cut through thick overgrown grass, bushes and even small trees. There are different size tractors and rotary cutters. We operate a larger size tractor (75HP) and a 7 foot heavy duty rotary cutter that can easily cut through 2 inch thick trees and bushes. Due to the size and construction of our rotary cutter and the horsepower of the tractor we are capable of covering more area per hour and capable of cutting through thicker growth than smaller sized tractors and rotary cutters.

We provide bush hogging, soil delivery, and property maintenance services across various locations for homeowners and landscape companies.
